Discover the area that called to the adventurous spirit of pioneers and famous explorers. Walk in the footsteps of early legislators, scoundrels, and even a (literal) saint. Learn how Main Street weathered the Civil War, the industrial revolution, and the ever changing times. One thing is guaranteed, you'll never look at Saint Charles the same way again.

  • We currently offer two tours on most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Tours are limited to 15 people
  • Each tour is $7.00 per person (age 10 & older)
  • Children under 10 are FREE with an adult purchase
  • Tours begin at the Tourism Center (230 South Main St.)
  • Tours are approximately one hour in length
  • Participants should expect to be standing or walking for the majority of the time
  • We walk at a moderate pace
  • Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the start of your scheduled tour in order to receive a refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations after that time or for failing to show for your tour.
